Massachusetts state residents can sign up for a Boston Public Library card via the web. BPL E-cards allow users immediate remote access to all of the Boston Public Library's electronic resources, including magazine databases, downloadable audio, video and music.
You can apply for a BPL card at any Boston online here or in person at any Boston library branch.
