2006 top 100 in Times Magazine- from artists, to builders, to leaders. Time magazine gives biographies on their top 100.

Kidspace- hosted by the internet public library. It includes online stories, reference help and other categories like sports, arts and crafts, math, ect.
Google earth- ever wonder what your house looks like from above? or Niagara Falls? Look up your favorite historical site. It has great pictures for posters.
Kidspiration- includes a 30 day free trial. You can make graphic organizers for book reports. Great for preschoolers- gr 3.
World fact book-great for statistics about cities or countries.
